They often have different vendors introduce themselves so you can build your team and they often have a local member do a case study on one of their properties to share the ins, outs, ups, and downs of the investment.

@Andy Ptak when jumping into the industry you have a few choices:1) Start at the bottom2) Leverage your experience to convince someone to give you a chance3) Decide between:--- Big companies who will usually start you at the bottom--- Small companies that will more like to a chance on hiring you for an above entry level position.

Even in Houston, I would suspect you'd pay $250 SF minimum, especially with a trick build like that on stilts.....What do you think, @Matthew Paul ?

Hi @Bryce Cover,First, congratulations on your growing family and your successful real estate investment so far!

Its much harder to turn a property around in 6 months expecting to have 100% of your money returned back to you - but if you focus on the right property focusing on highest and best use with an ADU add (like mentioned), in-fill/lot split, or other rehabs - then hopefully a semi-decent property like that will perform like a champ in a few years.

Anthony id take your offer on meeting new contractors man are you looking to do more fix and flips?

One reason was the condo management company wasn't doing a great job and there were always extra levies.
