We had more than 20 10Xers on the flight, some of whom I still connect with today.Great conference, Jesse was my favorite and Grant never disappoints.  

He’s going to be flight-for-life’d to a larger hospital, one better equipped to handle this type of injury.

But guess what...everything is a short flight away!

Afterall, every missed month of rent will cost you more than the flights out.

But they have an international airport there you can get flights to Mexico and US.. it really opened up when they put an ILS in.. before that it was just an NDB approach and with the low winter inversions made it tough getting in.there are 2 nice ski areas within 1 hour..

So thankfully I pulled the trigger on leaving that security job, picked up some side jobs landscaping, and started flight school and am on the path to a professional pilot.

It is a 8 hr drive and a 1 hr flight from the bay area so super doable.
