There for the properties values stay flat.I think the effect is going to be on consumer goods.... people have to live somewhere but they don't have to drive 60k cars maybe they buy a 20k car... they don't need a boat.. a jet ski... maybe that 3k weekend skiing in Tahoe gets cut down to once a year.. those type of things ... that's the only place I can see the wiggle room.. peoples discretionary purchases travel and entertainment could be affected..

Cars happen to be my golf, or boating, or fine cigars or jet-set holiday, so I'm OK with it, but if the car is just your transportation, the cheapest thing you can do is settle on one and keep it forever.

High maintenance people are not a protected class :-)The wife was showing a property on Friday, the house needs to be pressure washed, but you have the problem of getting the water turned on etc, and in these circumstances we are upfront with the tenant, if you take the house, get the water turned on before you move in and then we'll jet wash it, no problem and give you $5 for the water we use.It's just easier to do that.
