Could there be any hidden agendas or obligations after the repair process? 

I want to invest in a Stable, working class, up and coming neighborhood, preferably property with hidden values opportunities.

I would also ask about hidden fees or unexpected fees. 

Based on the information he gave me, when we ran the numbers, the loan amount did increase by 1.75% but instead of it being in the detailed breakdown, based on his words, it's a "hidden fee". 

In my experience, you can occasionally find some real gems that require little maintenance, can pick them up for a song, and they can cash-flow a few hundred dollars a month.

This is a cheaper system than hidden fasteners, however the screws are usually the first point of failure.

The K&T was a little hidden (all outlets grounded, updated circuit breaker box & attic had some new wiring) and only after the purchase did we realize it is sliced throughout.
