Literally all these scammers are doing is exploiting the "4 weeks a month" fallacy, collecting a 13th mortgage payment each year, taking a cut of that 13th payment, and using what's left post-cut to pay down the mortgage a little bit extra.)

The only way I can hope to make the money I would have made with my time/money is by either getting a cut of the profit, which is a risk I'm willing to take if I have a say in the buildout, or getting paid my full rate, which isn't going to happen.My accountant bills me at $120/hour.

The national companies do not have any MLS access, but instead subcontract the listings out to local brokers and pay them a cut of their fee, so you're essentially going through a middleman.
