What areas do investors in Colorado springs and surrounding areas tend to stay away from?

Lots of great neighborhoods surrounding Midtown/West Midtown.

And a city like Columbus, surrounded by three rivers, very important especially if there is a basement.

I use freedom credit union out of Philly. they only lend to the surrounding counties so they have to be local properties.

The investors I surround myself with would not park all their money in one property yielding 7% a year when they could invest it in flipping or hard money loans for 20-30% a year. 2.

The Health District in my view is bounded by:I-95 to the EastDolphin Expressway to the SouthNW 14th Ave to the WestNW 20th St to the NorthProperties within these boundaries are limited/rare, so while the above is the 'actual area' I also mean the surrounding neighborhoods and streets.The area doesn't have the best reputation in terms of safety (Though there are definitely rougher areas in the city), but it does seem like it a solid rental market - with plenty of jobs nearby.It is also fairly close (Depending on traffic) to Wynwood, Downtown, and Little Havana/stadium(s) and the airport.  

What support specialists have you surrounded yourself thus far in your REI career?

Working primarily near Hartsfield and surrounds.

Gorham Savings Bank and Bangor Savings Bank offer loans in that range, as well as NBT Bank which is relatively new to this area but well established in surrounding markets.
