Bay Area market is at an all-time high and I am looking into investing in Modesto Area, specifically 95355 area code. 

I currently “rent hack” (probably illegal) in the city of Hermosa Beach in the South Bay Area of LA county.

My name is Brandon Fox and I was born and raised in the SF Bay Area.

My mortgage will be roughly $1500/mo and at the current well below market rents I will not cover the mortgage, so they must be raised I am confident I could ask $1k/mo per unit or add an additional $70/week to the current rents, But i also want to try to find a way to remove the storage and garage bays from the tenants so I can rent them out and make additional income.

In addition, of course to location (proximlty to all the attractions), size, age, service, amenities ..In October 2016, I used my HELOC to buy a long term rental property in Palm Bay, FL which is currently leased out (yearly) starting March 2017 (and renewed last month).

Many many years ago I used Bay Title and Escrow Company buying my Ocala property while I was out of state.

I am originally from the Monterey Bay, but currently reside in the South Bay Los Angeles/ Long Beach area.I was raised “on the fence”, in the sense that I was exposed to much prosperity and poverty growing up.

Now, I’m from the Bay Area prices are different depending on the zip code (for school district and so on).
