I wound up finding the best to be Behr Marquee (about $50 gal) Usually a 1 coat job.I had a Rep from Zinzser tell me to get it, said the pigment was ridiculously good, better than theirs.

I included an escalation clause in our first deal and wound up having to pay an extra $15K out of pocket.

It was only a small attic fire, but with water damage from the fire dept and smoke damage, we wound up with a total budget of $80,000 from Liberty Mutual to renovate our new house (which we could NOT afford at that time, we were poor, stupid idiots who thought we could renovate a house).  

I wouldn’t even mind something I’d get killed with interest and fees on as long as it wound up making me enough money to put a large down payment on another property after my first with a better lender.I’ve also been in talks with my brother’s friend who has flipped 3 properties and is a carpenter and real estate agent.

After licking my wounds I determined that the lessons I learned were.1.

That's cash payoff in envelopes.They did an investigation and the wrongdoers wound up in jail.

I wound up with a nice settlement check from them!
