I have received a lot of feedback from travel healthcare workers who say "It is terrifying to send a deposit (+1 month rent sometimes) to a stranger to hold space when it could be a scam".

Factor in mistakes, travel, taxes, regulations, bad people and any other variables out of your control that you will encounter in your journey.  

Hey there Birmingham Investors,I've recently relocated to BHM and I'm eager to delve into the world of investing in Short-Term Rental and Medium-Term Rental properties, specifically targeting traveling professionals.

We will travel some months out of the year however, and in that case I probably would explore STR's.  

For me, I may need to relocate to fully retire or may want to travel after retirement but always want a place to come back to.

There may be some inroads there to travel...Congratulations and good luck. 

Local courts here wont let me move my paperwork here and im too broke to travel anywhere. .

If you wouldn't want to live there, no traveler is going to want to live there, either.

- Maybe consider Mid-term rentals in an area with hospitals or businesses with traveling corporate people - you'll need to furnish it, pay for utilities and WiFi but this is what some Bay Area investors I know that are doing and AirBnb to cash flow

This is my first multi-unit purchase, with larger purchase number with high interest rate in the neighborhood i never had rental property, which all add together that gives me anxiety, even though i used to work in the area for 14 years....so i cant say i am not familiar with the neighborhood, just never owned any propertydefinitely never felt good at closing, and chest pain is real, i dont recall when was the last time i was happy at closing, it's always "why i did it again", then i remembered because i need to make more income.summer being great time to get new tenant, but also worst financial time for me with kid summer camp, summer vacation travel...etc
