Short term rentals are more time consuming (can be like a part time job - but so can managing regular rentals) but tend to produce more income.The East End of Long Island is incredibly difficult without a lot of cash - high end rentals want high end amenities and upkeep of the property (I’m thinking paint refreshed more often, power washing the house & patio, etc).  

You can get the book on Kindle for $29, it is written in a manner that is fun to read, has a wealth of information that even pros can use for refreshing and has great advice for even single-family investors.

I got the list of the property owners from the county website.How often do I need to refresh this list (due to property owners moving or transferring the title or selling the house, etc)?
