He was happy, and we completed the job to full customer satisfaction and payment.Long story short, when he ran into problems he sued us for not pulling permits.

Good afternoon from Kansas...First and foremost - to each of you who take the time to reply to us "newbies" - thanks - I see a lot of introductions on here and many of you veterans patiently engage with us, and for that, thanks - thanks for taking your time...I recently sold my first business of 10 years and am in the midst of making a "career" change.  

Be PATIENT!

The reason being that the clients are generally more sophisticated and I get a certain satisfaction helping businesses expand, create jobs, etc.

Be patient as it will probably take you many years to save up the down payment.

I don't like dealing with multiple contractors even though Home Depot guarantees your satisfaction I don't want the hassle of having things fixed.  

I'm just doing my best to be patient.

Just be sure the numbers make sense to you and if something doesn't have him explain it to your satisfaction.

Don't give up and be patient with your commitment to study and learn the process while studying real estate.

I am eager to get my first deal going but am patient enough to search for a great deal rather than settling for a bad one.
