First set of tenants is a family Mom, Dad and two kids, they negotiated free rent to fix up the house and this was a verbal agreement (it doesn't appear they have done any repairs, at least not properly, for example the shower doesn't have a faucet and they hooked up a garden hose to the bathroom sink and ran it to the shower and put a shower head on the other end of the garden hose).

Externally, I'm working on replacing existing some old cypress bushes with a raised bed garden.

Can anybody comment on the NW Goldberg neighborood, Lasalle Gardens area in Detroit?  

I’ve not stopped to consider the major differences in this style of property vs. a garden style community of multiple buildings and maybe 3 stories at max.
