What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
The market in North Alabama has gotten very hot and "deals" are not as often popular as they were months ago! So buying a lot and building a new house is another real estate investment option for people like us in the area. When inventory is low and you have to use other type of real estate as this one even if the building process takes a little longer, still, makes one great option for those who patiently wait for their investment return. This home was sold before we were finished building it!
How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?
We bought the lot first, and then we decided to build on this lot in Athens and another one in Madison, Alabama. Full price offers on both properties! So, new construction is also another way we invest in real estate locally.
How did you finance this deal?
Private Money.
