Does anyone know about this requirement, what it entails and how much added cost I could be looking at?

I'm somewhat at a lost as to what the entire process entails.

I have a lot of people asking me about new construction and what all is entailed in a new build deal, so I figured I would share my most recent deal with the wondering people of BP!

You also mentioned the house has a lot of cosmetic issues too... if you're purchasing with a VA loan, these "cosmetic issues" depending on what they entail, might also be flagged by an appraiser and require further repairs. 

By default, on refinances, lenders pick our 'go to' escrow/title folks, unless you assert that you wish to do otherwise. 

There's rarely an exit strategy that doesn't entail taking a loss on the unit.

I don't want to be paying utilities, then billing the tenants, and having the additional work of all that entails, while living/traveling in our RV and work camping out of state.
