We will be living with my parents while we save up more, he gets a good job (he's a structural engineer here) and to help my parents out a bit. 

That income can be ANY legal and verifiable source of income,  including wages, SSI/SSD, food stamps,  settlements/child support etc.   

Also consider getting a loan in someone else's name - wife, parents, siblings.

My parents are realtors in Tallahassee, where I'm from, and they inspired me to start investing.Told me about buying small condo homes to use as cash cows.Interior is all upgraded appliances, and the unit is near Florida State University.

Side note: Parent not on board with this at all, they want to flip.

We borrowed some cash from my parents to purchase a home for $13,000 with approximately $20,000 held in escrow for the Cleveland Heights Point of Sale.

We currently have 8 units we manage ourselves.We both hold 9-5 jobs (more like 7:30 - 6) and just recently had our first child.

We can’t figure out exactly if he is indeed on title of the property he owns with his parents or not, whom live out-of-state.

Now the reason I'm looking into Baltimore, is because I grew up in Fort Washington Maryland, and my parents and brothers still live there, and I visit quite often. 

Especially if the parents are at work and children are home alone.
