We are in contract on a shopping center that has numerous vacancies.

Do local doctors and senior centers have bulletin boards that you can put flyers on? 

Is the strip center in SWFL, where you are located?

I think he's a Sgt E5 - has a tech type job in logistics or for all I know he flys a drone and blows people up all day as we have some sort of tech center where they do that on the local Airbase. 

It's certainly a small town, but has quick access to the Blackstone shopping center and it's not a terrible commute to Worcester (my dad does it every day).

My daughter used to go to a family care center and the owner is interested in renting our place for a year while her house is being extended/remodeled.

If you have fair credit, verifiable rental history and consistent income you can easily secure FHA financing in Houston and the inner city is the ideal place to house hack because of it's proximity to all the cool and trendy places downtown along with the major universities and Med Center.

In my mind small 20,000 square foot shopping centers would be ideal as far as investment goes but my retail stores need no more than 2000 Sq/Ft.

I told them to trade down to 2 small ones in major job center where homes do not depreciate-coastal cities.

@Joe Splitrock great discussion and they are fun to talk about, but I'd have to say most likely not...or at least the next contraction will not center around the RE markets.1.
