Real estate investing is not rocket science, buy some books here on BP and don't pay anyone for their system!

@Andy Port , This is the book I wish I'd read when I started...and I think it should be required reading for every beginner and pro.

My favorite book and the one that got me started was Set For Life by Scott Trench (a Bigger Pockets book).Also, if you are in the position to do so, house hacking is a great way to get started! 

Books we can get for under $20 each. 

Then you can read a more in-depth book like The Book On Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner or The Unofficial Guide to Real Estate Investing by Spencer Strauss.2.

I’d recommend checking out some books on short-term rentals written by BP authors.

It is my non legal opinion that your LLC should manage the property but own nothing but a check book.
