The house layout in neighborhood block in East San Jose is vastly different than Palo Alto and very different than in San Carlos or San Leandro.

We always try to remove them where the additional light from outside or ventilation isnt needed, when needed, we have replaced with glass block or nicer unit we built custom non functioning window out of pvc. 

As you will find Indianapolis has some great areas that can quickly turn into rougher area in a matter of a few blocks.

I grew up going there many years as a kid and it would be nice to designate some blocks to bring back more SFH along beach side vs towers everywhere.

I’m wondering if I should let this block me from getting any tenants in the units before I take this project on because it’s tough to come up with the mortgage with no rents.
