One of the biggest challenges is keeping the bathroom as carefree as possible.

I can buy investment RE but due to crazy bad DTI (far worse than 100 to 1, possibly approaching 500 to 1), I cannot get reasonable financing on an OO and not sure my co-sign will help on conventional financing.  

A mild recession is possible, but its impact on housing demand will depend on regional and economic conditions.

More competition equals less income per cabin.It's possible you can grab a cabin at a low price from someone who bought at the peak in 2022,  Just do your homework and be sure you can make your ROI before you enter this market.
