has anyone ever put engineered (prefinished) wood floors on a ceiling before? 

Long time lurker first time poster...I've started noticing more and more varieties of a flooring product as of late called Engineered Vinyl Plank. 

I’m an operating engineer and want to spend more time with my family. 

I have over five years of heavy civil engineering project management experience.

You may see comments relating to water leaks, or roof repairs, or engineer reports to pay close attention to.

I have a degree in engineering, an MBA, and a certificate in construction management from Turner Construction. 

I have the expertise to research various zoning, code and site development requirements but also can completed design drawings, coordinate engineers and submit to the municipality for construction permits under my own license.

I'm planning to have a structural engineer to create architectural as-built floor plans for a 2 story mixed use building I own in California.
