As a house flipper myself I would go look with a fine tooth comb, perform my due diligence and ask him to complete a property disclosure in it.

I recommend asking for it to be empty a couple weeks prior to your closing date so you have the opportunity to do a final inspection before closing.If the Seller refuses to kick them out, or is unable to do it, then you'll have to put in the heavy lifting.

Hi, i would like to know what are the best options (if there's any) to a foriegner ( i'm a Canadian citizen) to get a finance for real estate investment in the US.the conventional mortgage doesn't work - the banks asking a US SIN...  

I've decided to buy and rehab my own properties in KC but I think that buying TK with them is a fine choice.

Our plan before the city came to our door was to rent it out to one long term tenant so we don't have the constant turnover but now we are a bit apprehensive based on the letter.What can a city do to enforce these codes, what are the chances they give us a fine if we continue renting it out, and how much are fines?

Joining the military is a fine thing (I've done it) but not something to be done lightly... and with FHA or conventional mortgages available the VA loan isn't really that great anyway.

If the real estate commission has a fine and procedure in place then they can enforce those laws.  

No need for You to imitate arbitration, simply refuse to pay the difference, offer a check for the $9500 with the condition of a Final Release from him....if he refuses, do nothing....next move is his.
