Depending on where the house is it is not uncommon to have some moisture in a raised foundation, as the temperature changes you may see some condensation, that is why there are usually some vents around the base of the foundation.

I know you haven't been here very long, but you might be well suited to test the temperature of the water before jumping in.

Be ready for environmental / fire inquiries such as whether fuels and lubricants will be stored on the property, disposal of such things, fire suppression systems, hazardous substance containment, welding torches and other flammable substances, etc.

Mine was 120v and the heater did not simultaneously run while the jets were on so if people were in it for 30 minutes and then new people got in it the temperature would drop from its standard 102 degrees down to 97 or so and where I’m at if it was 10 below zero that was a big problem.

If you can't, you will find it difficult to keep the temperature in your office under control, even with a space heater.

I have experienced gaps and cracks to the outside as the wood gives and takes with the temperature changes.  

What's your market like for temperature and available plexes?

Did set a thermometer above it on the hearth and after a few hours raised the temperature 5 or 6 degrees but not at all across the room.
