In the last couple weeks I've made offers on everything from a small condo in PS (per our other thread) to a triplex to a russian river house to a ski condo.

If there's some specific stand out theme, such and energy efficient, or built around an airstrip or stables, or a ski slope (scratch that last one), boating, etc...

I’m interested in some of the properties in Lost Key Resort.

I spent 6 years living in Denver and loved it, ended up selling our house (stupid move) and buying a condo in a ski town to live.

They are an option of last resort.

They have done very well, but I rather not cash them out unless its a last resort to fund my first real estate venture.What would you do? 

Bottom line is that the little guys (Air BNB) have been taking market share from the big guys (hotels and resorts).

Some thing to consider only as last resort! 

Last resort - if they stop paying you may have to implement, "Cash-for-keys" - an expedited way to get them to move out without waiting for cook county sheriff to arrive/courts to open 6-12 months - GIVE THEM MONEY for a moving truck.
