Real estate can be a real roller coaster ride sometimes. 

This has been a roller coaster 24 hours where I have been stuck on here reading, posting and responding LOL!

I guess if it's vacant the roof can't be damaged and leak, maintenance only applies to leased units because the rollers on a door won't break if the unit is vacant.

I got some rooms done for $150 labor each with me providing the paint and rollers, but $500-600/room all materials provided seems more common.

Meanwhile they ignore regional markets that have huge upside potential because they follow the herd instead of skating to where the puck is going. 

I've only truly been full time real estate for a few weeks as I took the holidays off, but it's a roller coaster for sure!

Know now that you will run into many hurdles along your journey and it can become an emotional roller coaster, just stay the course and keep your determination fire always burning, in my opinion, that is the secret to success.

Prices in the Omaha metro are still on a slight but steady upward movement, like most strong midwest areas that don't see the roller coaster movement of values like sun belt areas.  

Raleigh also has major league hockey, soccer, roller derby, minor league baseball, and college basketball galore.

The business is a roller coaster for sure.
