It does not matter whether you are starting a real estate business, restaurant, car wash, or amazon commerce business - the lender will first look at you and your partner and how much skin you have in the game, your experience and the risk of the loan not getting paid. 

It's part of participation trophy society where people get socially rewarded for just being in the game, but that shouldn't apply to real estate.

Private lending platforms and some online real estate networks also list these types of cash-only opportunities.

That is a dangerous game to play with students.

Has anyone else had any experience with any of these platforms?

Who has listed their short term rentals on the HomeToGo Platform and if so, have you experienced good results?  

I don't know that Crexi has any information on the owners, just data on multi and apartments.Based on a Zoom call I was on last week it sounds like Crexi is stepping its game up trying to compete in the CRE world.
