Write a nit picky detailed agreement as to all possibilities more than a marriage commitment this is a long term relationship.

I think perhaps you're right, and with that in mind there's seems to be the 'happy marriage' of  a modern look, with original design elements to combine.

So narrow down if they are a good marriage match first, toss aside the short term girlfriends.

I would just explain that you thought she had been added to the account already after marriage.

Multi-Millionaire real estate investor, friend and neighbor of mine just passed away and said she moved 27 times in her 50 year marriage.   

My observation is that most partnerships eventually blow up, just like marriages.

That being said, I did my first deal with my mother-in-law fronting our down payment as a marriage gift, which created some awkwardness when we wanted to change certain things with "her property", but in the end after we rehabbed it and paid her back with interest, it was a great feeling. 

But... that is a whole different soap box on marriage that I probably should not get up on right now.So... if you are treating your marriage as a legal partnership then you should treat this investment the same way.
