So, I have decided to list it for sale for about 3.5x what I paid for it 20 years ago, and I will roll that money into a different opportunity, that will most likely produce 2x the rent roll.I had traded up in NYC over the years, and finally bought the big condo with statue of Liberty views, outdoor spaces, deeded parking, etc., and honestly I now regret it.

If the contractor is professional and experienced they will give you this upfront without you asking for it to protect themselves as well and be sure everyone is on the same page Example: if your doing tile work you want to know if it's going to be marble, porcelain etc. make sure the contractor is not planning to use dirt cheap crappy material that is not going to give you a nice looking quick sale house.
