The economic law of substitution is alive and very well because both of these actors play the same role, the only difference really is how they conduct themselves to accomplish the same objective.Perhaps you can see where this is going in line with ethical and legal constraints in pricing for services.

I would hope you would show some courtesy as the landlord but not expect or demand it..... the landlord didn't do anything wrong or malicious to screw me....the issue is with the utility company....out of his/her control.

I could even maybe believe that she and/or the boyfriend getting some low level jail time for fraud since they would have been the ones knowingly committing the act.I just can't believe this guy got jail time if there was no malicious intent or a benefit he incurred by the situation.

@Danny BenavidesThere is nothing in the License Act or TREC rules that prohibit you from assigning a contract when acting solely as a principal, however, your sponsoring broker (when you affiliate with one) can prohibit it.
