., I put my foot down and told him no, that it's an unreasonable request, that as the property owner I have a right to entry and I don't want to establish a precedent of locking myself out of some doors of my own properties for strange reasons, and that perhaps he would be happier as a home owner if he wants more privacy.  

If you can't answer that question: you're not ready to build that level of wealth without sacrificing a lot of things that could possibly make you much happier and a more satisfied person.Do you plan to have a family? 

If you just don’t like your job perhaps look for another that will allow you to be happier or one where you can make more money.
