North Carolina Mountain Lake House

I'm considering investing in a property up near Lake Toxaway (or close by) with my number one criteria being that it cash flow. Does anyone have any experience investing in that area. I know close by in Pigeon Forge there is a huge STR market for mountain cabins but not sure in the more remote areas near Cashiers, NC. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Look on vrbo and airbnb for that area to see how popular a lake house is. This should give you a good idea. Also see what rates they are charging.
