I've been seeing some recent rise in forums lately of people asking if it's a good idea to go into business with friends or family.  I'm sure it's due to people trying to find alternatives for themselv...

Most of them have strained friendships over the deals and none would EVER buy another.Plan for the worst and hope for the best - in this case, I'd say the "worst" is a TON of deferred maintenance and poor PM resulting in high turnover costs and a lot of collection issues.

I've also been recently introduced to tax liens and real estate notes and have an interest in these as well.I'm looking forward to building solid friendships, expanding my real estate knowledge and experience and to finally getting involved in doing real estate deals.
