And I found out some of these GCs were taking 15k+ for doing absolutely nothing and being bad at it.In my Greater Philly network I have @Jeff Henderson who is not only a GC that does the above, but he actually gets in the trenches and works next to his guys which allows for the control over the time and quality that is essential.Don't get caught up on lending terms, I guess is my cautionary tale.

Box A is direct lender charges, box B are things the lender is making you get that you cannot shop for (for instance, the appraisal or credit report), and box C is closing costs that you can shop/control- Lenders can move things around between boxes A and B to change the way costs appear.
