I am wondering if this is all result of normal settlement in older houses (built 1958, Kansas City soil is clay) or a bad repair project waiting to happen, I am an out of state investor and not trying to do any major renovations and will likely exit the deal if it seems to be a foundation issue that will require a couple thousand to resolve in the next 5-10 years or even sooner.

I have seen basements where water is pouring in when it rains and the homeowner added a layer of yellow clay around the foundation and it helped the water to drain away.

@Kelton Johnson and were you live.. there is Hail and wind damage and your deductible and foundations.. every deal I have funded in your town had or has major foundation issues.. its not if its when .. and of course none of the location turn key companies mention this pesky reality of owning properties were you have major expansive clay soils.
