Hey BP community, my wife and I have a house under contract as buyers and was wondering if it is acceptable to ask our real estate agent to contribute a percentage/certain ammount of his commission torwards closing costs?

My question here is, is it possible to raise private money and syndicate that money into a legal entity that would then join as a member of a separate LLC for the purpose of contributing capital to fund new construction?

Great thread... can't contribute anything to the mix but I learned something.  

How do I go about putting this deal together and would section 8 continue to contribute to the new payments?

The focus of the group is on member contributions, member led presentations, and member investment strategies. 

I was contemplating to do the same as Keith Fowler by pulling out my 401k that I do not contribute too anymore and take the hit.
