If your return is approximately that of the S&P 500 - around 10 percent annual - you will have a nice sum of $280,000.On the other hand, let's say you buy a $500,000 cabin with 20 percent down ($100,000), on a 15-year note.

We have a property manager in Colorado and another one in Ohio that give us pretty good annual reports.

My beach properties and my cabins of the same size gross about the same annual but on the beach I get an nice breather.
