Using your fallacy argument I can say driving a car is dumb, because what if someone is drunk, they can run off the road a die because of driving, or get arrested and go to jail for driving.

@Steven Luttman You got good advice on the unit but you might just check the arrest logs if they have them in your area maybe the husband is in jail. 

Much like if you are under house arrest, using your time to study REI is not a bad idea. 

It is a household of 3.  1 teenager, 1 early 20's, and a grandmother who either doesn't care what their grandsons do or simply cannot control them.Based off public records and looks like one of the kids has been arrested multiple times due to things like theft, but it seems nothing too egregious yet to put him in jail.  

I live in a red state.In most places a trespasser could be arrested while a squatter would not.

I am sure his thoughts were when he became an officer was arresting dangerous criminals, taking down drug dealers, etc., not throwing a sick disabled person out on the street.

I'd also see if there are any arrest warrants for him on the fraud charged.
