I'd recommend checking out the Black Diamond meeting in Worcester.  

In the meantime, I would learn the ins and outs of your market (ARVs, repair costs, common expense amounts, vacancies, etc.) to be able to spot the diamond in the rough. 

Make sure to check out the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham and also their 2nd meeting in Worcester if you think you might be investing in more central MA.
