The key question to ask a lender is this: "Did you run this through DU" (desktop underwriter).  

Can I do it on my cell or do I need a desktop computer?

If the lender is saying that Automatic Underwriting (called "DU" or "Desktop Underwriter" should have been done on Day 1 as soon as the loan officer.
