Any bookkeeping recommendations or apps/software for tracking?
I'm on the doorstep of acquiring my first investment property(s). I've been laser focused on that process, but have finally zoomed out a little and started to think about preparing myself for what happens AFTER I finally get rolling.
So, I'm seeking recommendations for simple bookkeeping. If you have a property manager, do they handle all/most of this for you? How much is passed onto your CPA?
Any good apps or desktop software that is recommended? Any training courses?

For self-managed, I find Quickbooks to be just fine - - the desktop top version.
If you have any training in accounting, even just one simple class, then the concepts make sense and you're just looking for "How does QB handle ...?".
At YE, I print the PnL & Balance sheet and pass that to the CPA - - finito.
