It will be your responsibility to maintain the streets, sewer lines, gas lines, electricity lines, any clubhouse or laundry facilities offered, as well as any additional amenities such as a pool, or sport court. 

I do want to have more time with my children and wife, (i.e. vacations, sports, plays, school activities).

I think there's skinny FIRE, medium and fat.Medium to me means I still am conscious of cost and value, but don't need to acquire cc cattle hacking travel miles, clip  coupons, shop at grocery outet or to be concerned about my theater, concert, sports games, restaurant or movie budget.

No matter what though, commercial real estate is a capital intensive sport.

You can bank on the yearly events here that draw hundreds of thousands of visitors (WM Phoenix Open golf tournament, multiple MLB teams for Spring Training, Barrett Jackson auto show, Arabian horse shows, etc).

Is it high end fixtures and appliances or community features such as the playground or sports courts?

When all else fails, and I am in desperation mode, I hit up Sports Clips.

It’s a competitive sport and reserved for the few and the proud, just like being a Marine or a Navy Seal.
