I think we have to keep in mind that BP is a place for beginner investors and I would suspect the vast majority of the members are just starting their journey so this type of marketing I am sure works.

I will say, although I started my real estate investing journey with furnished short/mid term rentals, if you want to scale, long term unfurnished is likely the best way to go.
