I know it's not my post, but sort of wondering on something. 

By ONLY looking at people with a lot of money in stocks and bonds, they get a very different sort of person than you might find on this site.

But there's all sorts of things that can go wrong in that time (sewer lines and roofs really come to mind). 

Is it possible to refinance it with a fixed rate loan of some sort?
