Similarly, we stay away from giving alcohol ... save "the old codger" we inherited with one building (he's been there almost forever), whom we gave a bottle of scotch on the occasion of a milestone birthday.When we give "appreciations" to our tenants, we also try to focus on locally owned businesses in the area where they live (i.e. the café around the corner, the pilates studio on the next block).
