Well, that almost seems as silly as the airplane operator running up to a train engine mechanic and telling him how a steam engine works.

I have had carpet look like this and turn out looking perfect after a professional steam cleaning.

I think some of you full-steam ahead people are missing an important point.  

When I was a PM in the Midwest, I managed several (old) buildings with hot water or steam heat.

If it's just been steam cleaned, you'll have a huge mess if you put baking soda on it.

Depending on how they respond you may have to wait until their lease is up for renewal....I had a 4 family with 1 old steam boiler so I was paying the whole house heating bill (what a nightmare)  I ended up seperating adding 2 gas hort water boilers for two first floor units and 2 forced hot air furnaces I dropped into attic for 2nd floor apartments.I planned this major upgrade right when leases were up for renewal and told them there would not be a rental increase for the next 2 years however you would now be responsible for paying your own heat.

Whenever you find yourself in a deep hole you need to drop the shovel and stop digging Your property management is obviously and grotesquely incompetent In every facet of their business You must immediately Make the bleeding stop You must stop allowing people to steam roll over you and get their hand out of your back pocket Today is the day to lay the law down and seize control of your investment from these incompetent grifters .

If it wasn't accounted for- hoo-boy, I'd be steaming mad too!

Hi all,What do you recommend as the most durable type of paint for a high moisture room such as a steam shower and or sauna? 

We had previously steamed cleaned the carpet and no dog smell was present.
