Just part of human nature (in my opinion)...My suggestion is to try to deal with people on their level -- if they seem disingenuous and shady, demand strong contracts/agreements and never giver leeway.

Here the landlord law has special provisions for this scenario ... they carry with them a {minimum} 60-day close to allow the tenant enough time to move.I more human way of handling it, is to work with the chosen tenant and Vendor to find a new home for this tenant and help them move {again: at the Vendor's expense if at all possible}.
