In one of my buildings I have around 264k to deploy and a typical 2 family is going for 650k.Our market here in eastern Massachusetts is pretty competitive as I bet most of the country is now.

I own one house in Norfolk currently and have owned it for over a year. I understand there’s a lot of military members coming and going out of that area, would it be wise to purchase another property out here?

Generally speaking the western side of Lubbock is nicer than the Eastern side, but that is a wide over simplification.I decided to invest here because of cheaper houses compared to other markets (like Utah where you're coming from or Colorado where I came from) and nice cash flow.

Some locations this would work much better than other, eg Eastern cities with large populations PLUS a commuting infrastructure.
