I know after going through the melt down of the syndicator I was working with ( and again this was mid to late 80s) and they had about 150 LPs they were GP for.. it was a mess.. holy man.. many of the  LPs formed committees and kicked them out as GP and well that just made the attorneys rich..

I serve on an Affordable Housing and Safer Neighborhood committee, with my local Chamber of Commerce.

The language for approval is working it's way through the local Village planning committees, then to Planning Commission then to Council and the Mayor for approvals. 

Any properties with zero bids during tax auction will go to Forfeited Land Committee until it is sold.

A Budget Committee might focus on getting updated estimates for large projects being considered for the next year, or refining contracts for certain regular services such as groundskeeping or housekeeping.

Maybe Josh could assign half a dozen or so of the more active folks as as some type of "welcoming committee".

Given that both bills are in front of the committee he chairs it is far more likely that they would advance H. 256 given it's lower level of opposition while still achieving many of the same goals.
