I realize that the difference between a few city blocks can make a difference, so local knowledge is welcome!

Previously, I let one LLC own 2 properties and share the bank account but it was a pain keeping track of which expense was for which property.

Now that is passive.. not to mention on a up zone property 2 blocks from downtown and County seat.. so I like that.. it pays for itself throws off some cash. 

You are in a world of tax pain doing that.  

It is a very block-by-block market.

Or I own all the other houses on that street and I just needed that lot to own everything on the block.   

I guess it's really tough to block partial payment w/o the rent collection platforms :( End of the day, I am trying my best be afloat landlord :) 

Painful lesson to learn.
