Louis.It’s actually a pretty sweet deal: close military family who take pride in executing the mission while looking out for each other; relatively close to several major cities (St Louis, Chicago, Nashville, Memphis), but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle; easy access to many outdoor activities; growing tech industry, close to five excellent transportation routes (the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, and I-70, I-64, I-55); and an exciting baseball team (I’ve drank the Kool-aide and am now a solid Cardinals fan).Talk about Location!

So I decided to leverage my knowledge in construciton and start building a foundation on the developer side and accepted a position as a Project Manager for construction of ground up Healthcare facilities.I am currently on the fence of jumping head first into the bigger pockets community to start flipping homes.  

Healthcare is not cheap nor are the day to day living expenses for two retirees in their 60’s.

The 600# gorilla for me is health care. 

. : $(15k-20k) ~I see a lot of delta here between a potential final asking price and a total project cost.All in all, I think that there is a market for this type of modern, "environmentally friendly" type of home, and I've seen news-stories on successful storage container homes that were built in Denver.Should I believe all of the hype, or am I drinking too much kool-aid?

I would look into whatever local community college you may be able to attend, talk with their financial aid department, and see what Pell Grant/Scholarships you may qualify for.

Hi All,I was considering getting my real estate license to aid in my real estate investing (which is a controversial topic I know).

They avoid taxes, avoid health care expense, avoid insurance, avoid workman's comp and by doing so they undercut someone else who is following the law.

All I can do, in light of the Fair Housing Act, is point clients to some public resources to aid them in researching it themselves.Am I wrong here?
