When I asked the point of contact for additional information (contract, copy of earnest money check, bank account verification) , they went silent.

Many folks are once again turning to RE and RE related assets as a new form of income or additional form of income, etc.

It added far less value than the cost of the addition.

Instead of paying 1250$ a month and staying in my current home I can pay 977$ per month and have an additional 4br/2 bath property. 

Delays are typically caused by previous landlords or employers who don't respond to our requests for verification.

If you use a property manager, you'll need at least 50 rentals to cover the additional expenses.

With this comes additional transactional costs that are more likely to present themselves in this asset class than other price point SFH's.
